About Kristin Oden, PA-C
I’m Kristin Oden, PA-C, founder of Aurora Immunotherapy & Wellness. I am a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 14 years of clinical experience in family medicine, urgent care, and primary care.
Throughout my career, I’ve cared for patients navigating a wide range of health concerns. Over time, I began to see a pattern—many individuals living with allergies and immune-related conditions were managing symptoms, but not always finding lasting answers.
Why I chose immunotherapy
My path to immunotherapy is not only professional—it is deeply personal, and it changed how I think about care.
As a mother of three, I experienced firsthand how complex and overwhelming immune-related conditions can be. My children were born with conditions including Food Protein–Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome (FPIES) and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), and our journey to understanding and managing their health was long, exhausting, and at times discouraging.
Despite working with skilled specialists and pursuing extensive testing and conventional treatment options, we reached a point where meaningful improvement remained difficult to achieve.
Discovery of Low Dose Immunotherapy (LDI)
Through a pediatric support community, I was introduced to low-dose immunotherapy (LDI). As we explored this approach under the guidance of an experienced physician, I gained a new perspective on how the immune system could be supported in a more individualized way.
That experience not only impacted my family, but also sparked a deeper professional interest in immunotherapy and immune-focused care.
Personal Experience With Immunotherapy
I also have personal experience being treated with immunotherapy as part of my own care for allergies and autoimmune conditions. This perspective has shaped my understanding of how deeply these conditions can affect daily life—both physically and emotionally.
Having both professional training and personal experience allows me to approach patient care with a deeper sense of empathy and understanding. I recognize how overwhelming it can feel to live with ongoing symptoms or to feel like you’ve exhausted your options.
My goal is to create a space where patients feel heard, supported, and informed—and to help them understand that there may be another path forward.
Professional Training in LDI
Motivated to responsibly offer this approach to others, I completed specialized training under the same physician who treated my children and myself. This training, combined with my clinical background, allows me to incorporate immunotherapy into my practice with appropriate medical oversight and experience.
“I believe nothing happens in vain. The path I walked led me here, shaping who I am today—as a person, as a mother, and as a medical provider. Today, my work is focused on helping others who may feel stuck or out of options understand that their current situation may not be the only path forward.”
